Herbal medicine and Nutrition
Nature's pharmaceuticals
100% pure Western, Ayurvedic and Chinese herbal medicine capsules and tablets are used for dispensing. Liquid herbals are not used. Encapsulated herbals ensure high patient tolerance.
Suggestions during consultation include dietary advice and supplements in capsule form. Vitamins and minerals are only given where indicated and often follow testing such as hair analysis, genetic, stool or blood testing. Janine usually only prescribes 2-3 supplements at any one time.
Homeopathy
Curative medicine
While herbal medicines are nature's pharmaceuticals, Homeopathy can be the curative treatment. Few medicines offer the potential to fix the cause of a problem. Homeopathy is safe for pregnant women, babies and children. Homeopathy is not placebo, in fact, it works better on animals than humans. If the right remedy is prescribed, the positive results are profound. Homeopathy is cheap and easy to take, requiring only the minimal dosage.
Pathology testing
Integrating pathology and natural medicine
A world of testing exists beyond Medicare. Pathology outlets offer hundreds of tests to patients that are not suggested by your doctor. Naturopaths have access to both Medicare-rebated and non-rebatable testing. That means, if your doctor can not order a test on Medicare, your Naturopath can order the test as an out-of-pocket expense. Janine uses hair testing, saliva, blood and urine analysis, DNA testing and stool analysis.
